This photo was taken on an old Blackberry phone when I was 18 years old. It’s the last thing my father left me before he passed away, and even though it might not be the most beautiful image, it means the world to me. Everything I love about photography – the stories, the connections, the meaning – is summed up in this one precious memory.

Meet hannah
So, as you’ve probably gathered by now, I’m Hannah! I live on the beautiful Sunshine Coast with my husband Lindsay, our two boys Malakai and Thorin, and our golden retriever Marshmallow. Laughter, love and nature are the three key ingredients for our life together. We keep things simple and steady, and leave it to the kiddos to keep things spontaneous!
Lindsay and I married three years ago, and let me tell you...it’s everything it’s cracked up to be. However, I still remember how overwhelming the planning process can be and, speaking from personal experience, having a reliable, dedicated photographer by your side really helps to reduce stress on the big day. They need to understand you both as people, get your vision, respect your love and know your story.
There’s no one thing that’s more important than the other. I may have joined the ranks of BC wedding photographers, but I also have experience as a bride! So don’t worry, I get it. And I’m here to make things as easy as possible for you.

On your special day, there are things that are seen, and things that are felt. It’s my job to tell this very personal journey both visually and emotionally.
Each human being on this planet is unique, and I aim to capture that individuality in every shot that I take. I let your personality guide my approach and adapt my style accordingly.
Superficial photos generate superficial responses. Sensing real emotion through candid imagery brings still frames to life and allows you to relive your memories, frame by frame.
I’m not showing up to simply click a shutter button. I work hard to create an environment that’s comfortable for the two of you - so that your love’s reflection is felt in the images we capture together.
I treat my clients as friends, so we’ll spend plenty of time chatting, laughing and planning before the event! I want to build this connection with you so that you feel totally comfortable in front of my lens, and can trust that I know how to capture the real you.
Because of this, my services aren’t structured packages in which I punch in and clock out. I strive to make each individual wedding a tailored experience. Personalised for you and your love story. Whether it’s for an intimate couples session or a blow-out wedding extravaganza, each and every shoot will have that all-important personal touch.
